We are FloridaSpringLife.com. We are advocates for all Springs that are in Florida. We want to assist in keeping the public updated on Springs that reside in your county and all of Florida. Springs are a natural part of Florida that we must make sure we preserve so generations to come will be able to enjoy a wonderful, scenic aspect of Florida that the mainstream sometimes forgets when showcasing the sunshine state.
Generations of Floridians and patrons from neighboring states have enjoyed the hidden treasures that are the springs of Florida. As advocates for all springs, we keep up with events and legislative issues that may impact our Springs.
Our goal is to be a consistent resource for Florida residents. We want to give information about local and nearby springs and swimming holes, encourage visitation with family and friends and keep our residents aware of issues both legal and environmental concerning our natural resource of springs.

Who created Florida Spring Life and why?
Florida Spring Life was created by passionate springs advocates who saw a need for a single, friendly, authoritative home for anyone curious about Florida's springs ? whether planning a first visit or a lifelong paddler. The site was built to meet visitors where they are, with honest information, practical guidance, and deep respect for these fragile natural wonders.
How is Florida Spring Life connected to spring conservation?
Bringing awareness to our Florida Springs and providing a place where people can learn and gather informaton is how we are connected and contribute to spring conservation. When we started out, we were enraged that we could not find information, a comprehensive list of springs, solid photography or a map worth using for the curious. We filled the gap by gathering that information as well as exposure for legal issues, the Florida Springs Council before it was a council and BMAPS. We believe people who love and understand springs are the most powerful force for protecting them. Every aim to turn curiosity into connection ? and connection into action.

Florida Spring Life is not an official arm of the Florida Springs Council, but we proudly amplify and support their vital mission. We feature the Council's work throughout this site and social media and encourage all visitors to learn about, donate, and support this critical advocacy organization at floridaspringscouncil.org.
