Manatee gets special wetsuit after accident

A mother manatee received a special gift for Mother's Day after she was rescued by teams at SeaWorld.The manatee was hit by a boat and suffered a collapsed lung and was having trouble floating. She was rescued in waters near Satellite Beach.
Look out for Manatees when you are fishing
Apr 1, 2015 - As springtime arrives, chances increase that manatees and boaters will have close encounters. Boaters can enjoy opportunities to observe one of Florida's unique species but to avoid colliding with manatees, people on the water should take basic steps such as slowing down, watching out for the animals and complying with regulations in manatee zones.
